  • Test the mechanism multiple times to confirm its reliability
  • Inspect the outer casing for any visible cracks or signs of wear
  • Look for any dents or deformities in the housing
  • Simulate a fall to trigger the emergency braking system
  • Confirm that the system stops the fall smoothly and effectively
  • Clean the device with a soft brush or cloth to remove any dirt or debris
  • Check for any signs of rust or corrosion on the fall arrester
  • Inspect the labels for any fading, peeling, or illegibility
  • Ensure that all safety instructions and markings are clear and up to date
