Rinse the sponge or cloth frequently in clean water to prevent smearing or re-depositing grout.

Take care not to disturb the freshly applied grout while cleaning.

Final Steps

Allow the grout to cure and dry according to the manufacturer's instructions, typically 24-48 hours.

Inspect the grouted area for any inconsistencies or gaps and touch up as necessary.

Apply a grout sealer or tile and grout cleaner/protector to enhance the longevity and durability of the grout.
