Ensure the coil is evenly distributed across the book.

Quality Check

Inspect the bound books for any loose pages or misalignment.

Verify that the binding method is applied correctly and securely.

Check for any visible defects, such as glue smears or coil deformities.

Ensure the finished books meet the required thickness and size specifications.

Finishing

Trimming and Cutting

If necessary, trim the edges of the bound books to achieve a neat appearance.

Use a guillotine or cutting machine to ensure straight and uniform edges.

Folding and Creasing

Fold the covers of the book neatly if required.

Use a creasing machine to create crisp folds on the covers or pages.

Packaging and Labeling

Wrap the bound books in protective packaging (e.g., shrink wrap, polybags).

Apply labels or stickers with relevant information (e.g., title, barcode, ISBN).

Final Quality Check

Inspect the finished books for any remaining flaws or imperfections.

Confirm that the packaging is intact and secure.

Verify that the labels are correctly applied and legible.

Ensure the final product meets the desired standards.

Post-Production

Storage and Inventory

Store the bound books in a suitable location, protecting them from damage.

Update inventory records to reflect the produced books accurately.

Shipping and Distribution

Prepare the bound books for shipment or distribution.

Pack them securely to avoid any damage during transit.

Arrange for transportation or delivery to the designated destinations.

Documentation

Maintain detailed records of the book binding process, including dates, quantities, and any issues encountered.

Document any customer specifications or special requirements for future reference.
