Preparing the Sauce
Gather all the ingredients for the sauce.
Chop the onions, garlic, and any other vegetables.

Place a layer of lasagna noodles on top of the sauce.
Add a layer of the ricotta cheese mixture and spread it evenly.
Sprinkle a layer of shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
Repeat the layering process until all the ingredients are used, ending with a layer of sauce and mozzarella cheese on top.
Baking and Serving
Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil.
Place the lasagna in the preheated oven and bake for the recommended time.
Remove the foil during the last 10-15 minutes of baking to allow the cheese to melt and slightly brown.
Once the lasagna is cooked, remove it from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
Cut the lasagna into portions and serve it hot.
Optionally, garnish with fresh basil or parsley before serving.
