Exterior Inspection

  • Inspect all sides of the ambulance for any visible damages or dents.
  • Pay special attention to areas such as the front bumper, rear bumper, and sides of the ambulance.
  • Note any damages or dents found for further action.
  • Check each door, including the front doors, side doors, and rear doors, for any damages or malfunctions.
  • Inspect all windows to ensure they are intact and in good condition.
  • Examine all mirrors to ensure they are properly adjusted and not damaged.
  • Check the headlights to ensure they are working and providing sufficient illumination.
  • Inspect the taillights to ensure they are functioning and visible.
  • Test the emergency lights to verify they are operational.
  • Inspect each tire for any signs of damage, such as cuts or bulges.
  • Check the tire pressure using a pressure gauge.
  • Ensure all tires have the appropriate pressure as specified by the manufacturer.
  • Examine the underside of the ambulance for any signs of fluid leaks.
  • Look for any puddles or stains indicating a leak.
  • If a leak is detected, identify the source and take appropriate action.
  • Check the condition of the windshield wipers, ensuring they are not damaged or worn.
  • Test the wipers to ensure they operate smoothly and effectively.
  • Check the washer fluid level and refill if necessary.
  • Verify that the license plate is properly attached and not obstructed.
  • Check the expiration date on the registration to ensure it is valid.
