Arrange the appropriate cutlery on either side of the plates, with forks on the left and knives and spoons on the right.

Ensure all cutlery is polished, clean, and in proper working condition.

Place the dinner knife closest to the plate on the right side, followed by the soup spoon if needed.

Arrange the dessert spoon and fork horizontally above the dinner plate, with the spoon facing right and the fork facing left.

Providing Glassware

Position the water glass above the knife, diagonally to the right.

Place other glassware, such as wine glasses or champagne flutes, to the right of the water glass, if required.

Ensure all glassware is clean, polished, and free from any spots or stains.

If providing multiple types of wine glasses, arrange them in the order they will be used, from left to right.

Setting the Napkins

Fold cloth napkins neatly and place them either on the center of the dinner plate or to the left of the forks.

Alternatively, use a napkin folding technique to create decorative displays if desired.

Ensure paper napkins are neatly stacked and placed in a suitable container.

Adding Table Accessories

Place salt and pepper shakers in the center of the table, within easy reach of all guests.

Add a small flower arrangement or centerpiece if desired, ensuring it doesn't obstruct the view or conversation between guests.

Check the lighting and adjust as necessary to create a pleasant ambiance.

Final Checks

Ensure all items on the table are aligned and evenly spaced.

Verify that the table is clean, free from any crumbs or stains.

Double-check the table setting against the menu or event requirements to ensure accuracy.

Confirm that all necessary table items, such as condiments or additional utensils, are readily available nearby.
