Interior Inspection
- Check for any visible damage or signs of tampering

- Ensure extinguishers are not expired and are fully charged
- Check that extinguishers are easily accessible and not blocked
- Test emergency lighting to ensure it activates in the event of a power outage
- Check exit signs for visibility and proper illumination
- Replace any burnt out bulbs or malfunctioning lights
- Check for any damage or signs of wear on the doors
- Ensure that doors close properly and latch securely
- Inspect door seals and gaskets for any gaps or damage
- Inspect walls and ceilings for any cracks, holes, or other damage
- Check for any penetrations or gaps that could compromise fire resistance
- Ensure that any breaches are properly sealed and repaired
- Check that the evacuation plan includes all necessary information
- Verify that evacuation routes are clearly marked and easily accessible
- Update the plan if any changes have occurred
- Check for any debris, clutter, or obstructions in the stairwells
- Ensure that handrails are secure and in good condition
- Inspect stairs for any damage or tripping hazards
- Test communication systems to ensure clear and audible messages
- Check for any static or distortion in the audio
- Ensure that all areas of the building are covered by the system
- Activate suppression systems to ensure they deploy correctly
- Check for any leaks or malfunctions in the system
