Pre-Flight Checklist for FPV (First-Person View) Drone Operations

  • Visually inspect all parts of the drone for cracks or damage
  • Ensure the arms are securely attached to the frame
  • Check each propeller for tightness and proper alignment
  • Make sure there are no cracks or damage on the propellers
  • Check the battery level indicator on the drone or use a battery checker
  • Charge the battery if needed before the flight
  • Check the camera lens for scratches or dirt
  • Inspect the transmitter for any loose connections or physical damage
  • Power on the drone and check the video feed on the FPV goggles or monitor
  • Look for any interference or signal loss in the video transmission
  • Check that all antennas are securely attached to the drone and transmitter
  • Inspect the antennas for any signs of wear or damage
  • Power on the remote controller and verify all buttons and switches are responsive
  • Calibrate the controller according to the manufacturer's instructions if needed
