Kitchen
- Unplug appliances and remove any detachable parts
- Use a damp cloth and mild detergent to wipe down the exterior of appliances
- Clean the interior of appliances according to their specific cleaning instructions
- Dry appliances and reassemble any detachable parts
- Remove all food items from the refrigerator
- Throw away expired or spoiled food
- Take out removable shelves and drawers
- Wash the shelves and drawers with warm, soapy water
- Wipe down the interior walls and surfaces with a mixture of water and vinegar
- Dry all surfaces before putting shelves and drawers back in
- Empty cabinets and drawers of all items
- Wipe down the interior and exterior surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent
- Pay extra attention to any sticky or greasy spots
- Dry all surfaces with a clean, dry cloth
- Organize and put items back into cabinets and drawers
- Sweep the entire kitchen floor to remove any loose dirt and debris
- Use a mop and a bucket of warm, soapy water to mop the floor
- Pay attention to any stains or spills and scrub them with a brush if necessary
- Allow the floor to air dry completely

- Use a microfiber cloth or duster to remove dust from baseboards.
- Wipe down baseboards with a damp cloth or sponge to remove dirt and grime.

- For light fixtures, remove any covers or shades and wash them with soap and water.
- For ceiling fans, use a step ladder and a damp cloth or duster to wipe down each blade.
- If necessary, use a mild cleaning solution to remove stubborn dirt or stains.
- Spray a disinfectant cleaner onto a clean cloth.
- Wipe down all doorknobs and switches, making sure to cover the entire surface.
- Allow the disinfectant to air dry.
- Remove trash bags from each trash can.
- Dispose of the trash bags in an outdoor garbage bin.
- Wash the inside and outside of each trash can with warm soapy water.
