Kitchen

  • Unplug appliances and remove any detachable parts

  • Dry appliances and reassemble any detachable parts
  • Remove all food items from the refrigerator
  • Throw away expired or spoiled food
  • Take out removable shelves and drawers
  • Wash the shelves and drawers with warm, soapy water
  • Wipe down the interior walls and surfaces with a mixture of water and vinegar
  • Dry all surfaces before putting shelves and drawers back in
  • Empty cabinets and drawers of all items
  • Wipe down the interior and exterior surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent
  • Pay extra attention to any sticky or greasy spots
  • Dry all surfaces with a clean, dry cloth
  • Organize and put items back into cabinets and drawers
  • Sweep the entire kitchen floor to remove any loose dirt and debris
  • Use a mop and a bucket of warm, soapy water to mop the floor
  • Pay attention to any stains or spills and scrub them with a brush if necessary
  • Allow the floor to air dry completely
