Receiving

  • Verify all items on the delivery invoice match what was received
  • Check for any damaged or incorrect items
  • Note any discrepancies and report to the supplier
  • Check expiration dates on all perishable items
  • Inspect for any signs of spoilage or damage
  • Reject any items that do not meet freshness standards
  • Immediately refrigerate or freeze perishable items
  • Store dry goods in a cool, dry place away from heat sources
