Interior Inspection

  • Turn on the ignition without starting the engine.

  • Verify that warning indicators activate when corresponding functions are triggered.
  • Ensure all lights turn off after the engine starts.
  • Replace any burnt-out bulbs as needed.
  • Examine each seat belt for frays, tears, or discoloration.
  • Pull the belt out fully to check retraction mechanism.
  • Test the latch for secure engagement and release.
  • Ensure the anchor points are secure and not corroded.
  • Replace any damaged or malfunctioning seat belts.
  • Press the horn button on the steering wheel.
  • Listen for a loud and clear sound.
  • If the horn does not sound, check the fuse.
  • Inspect the horn's wiring for loose connections.
  • Replace the horn if no sound is produced.
  • Start the engine and let it idle.
  • Set the climate control to maximum cooling.
  • Check for cold air from the A/C vents.
  • Switch to heating and assess warm air output.
  • Inspect for unusual noises or smells during operation.
  • Remove all personal items from the car.
