Verify that the configuration has loaded correctly by checking the running configuration.

Resetting the Password

Enter global configuration mode (command: `configure terminal`).

Change the password for the console, VTY lines, and any other required passwords (commands: `line con 0`, `password YOUR_NEW_PASSWORD`, and `login`).

Save the changes made to the configuration (command: `write memory` or `copy running-config startup-config`).

Rebooting the Device

Exit global configuration mode (command: `exit`).

Reload the device (command: `reload`).

Confirm that you want to reload if prompted.

Post-Recovery Steps

Test the new password to ensure it works correctly.

Review the configuration for any additional changes needed.

Document the password change and update any related records.

Implement security best practices for password management (e.g., complexity, regular updates).
