Pre-arrival Preparation

  • Have new hire fill out any required forms, such as tax forms and employee agreements
  • Review completed paperwork to ensure all necessary information is provided
  • Create a schedule for the new hire's first week, including training sessions and orientation
  • If a uniform is required, ensure it is clean and ready for the new hire to wear
  • Choose an experienced employee to mentor the new hire during their first few weeks
  • Inform the mentor of their responsibilities and schedule time for them to meet with the new hire
