Preparation

- Tie up trash bag securely before removing from can
- Replace with a new liner
- Ensure trash cans are not leaking or dirty
- Put items back in their designated places
- Neatly arrange items on surfaces
- Remove any clutter or unnecessary items
- Use a disinfectant spray or wipes
- Pay special attention to high-touch areas
- Allow surfaces to air dry before use
- Use a duster with an extendable handle
- Turn off fans before cleaning
- Check for any burnt-out light bulbs

Bedroom

- Dust headboard with a microfiber cloth
- Wipe down bedside tables with a damp cloth
- Move the bed to access underneath
- Vacuum all areas under and around the bed
- Empty out drawers
- Organize items neatly and put back in drawers
- Use glass cleaner and a microfiber cloth to clean mirrors
- Wipe down windows with glass cleaner
- Go through clothing and shoes in the bedroom
- Remove any items that are no longer needed or worn
- Use appropriate polish for the type of furniture or decor
- Buff to a shiny finish
- Move area rugs to different positions to prevent wear
- Vacuum all sides of the rug thoroughly
- Turn off lights and fan
- Use a damp cloth to wipe down fixtures and fan blades
- Remove trash bags from cans
