Avoid overheating or scorching the milk
Shut off the steam wand and wipe it clean
Assembly and Presentation
Pour the espresso shot into a cup
Gently tap the cup on the counter to remove any air bubbles
Slowly pour the steamed milk into the cup, aiming for a 1:1 ratio with the espresso
Use a spoon to hold back the foam, allowing the milk to flow first
Create latte art, if desired, by gently moving the cup side to side while pouring
Sprinkle cocoa powder, cinnamon, or other flavorings on top
Serve the cappuccino immediately, with a saucer and spoon
Cleanup
Empty and rinse the portafilter and remove the coffee puck
Wipe down the espresso machine and steam wand
Rinse the milk pitcher and steam wand to remove any milk residue
Dispose of used coffee grounds properly
Clean any spilled milk or coffee from the counter or machine
Store all equipment in a clean and organized manner
