Front of House Cleaning Checklist
- Wipe down tables and chairs with a disinfectant cleaner
- Ensure all surfaces are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized
- Using a disinfectant wipe or spray, clean all menus, condiment bottles, and salt and pepper shakers
- Make sure to thoroughly disinfect all surfaces and remove any residue
- Sweep the entire dining area, including under tables and chairs
- Mop the floor with a suitable cleaner, paying extra attention to high traffic areas
- Vacuum all carpets and rugs, ensuring to reach corners and edges
- If necessary, spot clean any stains or spills using appropriate carpet cleaner
- Remove all trash bags from bins and replace with new ones
- Wipe down the inside and outside of the bins with a disinfectant cleaner
- Using a duster or microfiber cloth, dust all decorations and fixtures
- Wipe down surfaces with a damp cloth to remove any dirt or grime
- Spray glass cleaner onto a microfiber cloth and wipe down windows and glass surfaces
- Ensure all streaks and smudges are removed for a clear and polished appearance
- Check all light fixtures to ensure they are functioning properly
- Replace any burnt-out bulbs with new ones as needed
- Inspect restrooms and replenish toilet paper, paper towels, and soap as needed
- Ensure all dispensers are full and clean
- Wipe down high chairs and booster seats with a disinfectant cleaner
- Pay special attention to areas where food and spills may accumulate
- Check the cleanliness of the bar area, including countertops, sinks, and equipment
- Clean and sanitize all surfaces and restock any necessary supplies
- Using a polishing cloth, polish all silverware and glassware to a shiny finish
- Ensure all items are clean and free of any smudges or fingerprints
- Inspect utensils and serving equipment for cleanliness
- Wash or sanitize any items that are dirty or soiled
