General Inspection

Operational Checks

  • Apply the brakes while pushing the pallet jack to ensure it stops smoothly
  • Check for any unusual noises or vibrations when braking
  • Visually inspect the forks for any signs of bending or damage
  • Ensure the forks are aligned properly and not twisted
  • Operate the lift mechanism to raise and lower the forks multiple times
  • Check for any jerking movements or delays in the lifting process
  • Pull the release lever to lower the forks and release any load
  • Check for any sticking or difficulty in releasing the lever

Maintenance Checks

  • Use appropriate lubricant for each moving part
  • Follow manufacturer's guidelines for lubrication frequency

  • Add fluid to the recommended level if low
