1. Preparation Steps

3. Heating and Mixing

Heat the water phase to the desired temperature (usually around 70-75°C)

Heat the oil phase to the same temperature

Combine the oil phase into the water phase while stirring continuously

Use an emulsifier or mixer to blend the mixture until homogeneous

4. Cooling and Adding Ingredients

Allow the mixture to cool to around 40°C

Add heat-sensitive ingredients (fragrances, essential oils, preservatives)

Mix thoroughly to ensure even distribution of all ingredients

5. Quality Control

Check the pH of the lotion and adjust if necessary

Perform consistency tests (viscosity, texture, etc.)

Ensure the product meets the desired specifications (color, scent, etc.)

6. Packaging

Prepare containers (bottles, jars, tubes) for filling

Ensure all packaging materials are clean and appropriate for the product

Fill containers with lotion, ensuring no air bubbles are trapped

Label containers accurately with product information and batch numbers

7. Storage and Documentation

Store finished products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight

Document the batch production record (ingredients used, measurements, and any observations)

Maintain records for traceability and compliance with regulations

8. Review and Continuous Improvement

Gather feedback from testers or consumers

Review production process for efficiency and consistency

Make adjustments based on feedback for future batches

Train staff on any new procedures or improvements made
