Secure meetings in microsoft teams

Pre-meeting Setup

  • Verify each participant has a valid Microsoft account.

  • Toggle the setting to 'Only people in my organization'.
  • Communicate this policy to all participants.
  • Ensure external guests are invited explicitly.
  • Create a password with at least 12 characters.
  • Include a mix of uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols.
  • Share the password securely with participants.
  • Avoid using easily guessed information.
